About Safe at Home

I started this blog to compliment my other two websites by creating a public forum dedicated to the display, storage and preservation of baseball cards. Most of the material comes from extensive web searching but the more I researched the more I realized that I would just be scratching the surface – updates, suggestions and participation are welcome. It's also important to note that most of the guidelines come from sites that discuss the display and preservation of fine art, photographs and stamps. I've tried to selected examples that in my opinion provide the best proxies for baseball cards.

Like my other two web properties, Bloop Single and BaseballCardDisplayCase.com, Safe at Home is part emarketing experiment and part business opportunity. This wiki is a great way to learn first hand about social media, or Web 2.0, trends and an opportunity to establish thought leadership within the vintage baseball card community.

Feel free to visit my other sites:

BaseballCardDisplayCase.com – my goal is to create and market the premium baseball card display case. Visit www.BaseballCardDisplayCase.com for product and sales information.

Bloop Single – my blog hosted at Blogger. Think of this as an online diary about baseball related topics with a focus on baseball cards and fantasy baseball. Bloop Single supports the marketing and promotion of BaseballCardDisplayCase.com.
